Before I respond to this, I want to apologize for my first comments. I've been under a lot of stress for the pass few weeks and will be under a lot of stress for the next few weeks. I've been at a relative's funeral over the weekend, I have tech week all week next week on top of an already busy schedule, and I'm looking forward to my first Christmas without my grandmother, among other things. But that's no excuse for the way I commented, and I apologize for that.
Okay, now to get back to the relevant topic. I'm going to try and respond to both this and your "Where's the Edge?" meme to save some typing.
First off, I did not know what the WLC is, just like the other 99% of people inn the world, be cause I'm not a historian, theologian, or do any sort of job that relates to the bible. (Nor do I read Hebrew.) But I don't need to read Hebrew to understand that what your quoting is way out of context (because the context is not going to change THAT MUCH between translations, and you know that). I'm just going to take Deut. 28:49 as an example. That verse is making the point that enemies are going to come upon the Israelites from a great distance. Unless you want to argue that Rome, Assyria or, Babylon are the edges of the earth, because taking into account the historical context of this verse, that's EXACTLY what you're implying. And I really doubt that the original translation says something completely different from what the modern translation does. Sure, context and word choice are lost in the amount of translations that the bible went through. But not THAT much.
The bible is not a historical textbook, nor is it a geographical handguide or a physics textbook. And it was definitely not meant to have every singe verse taken absolutely literally. There are literary devices, and metaphor, and simile within the writing. Which you are obviously ignoring.
Also, I'm not concerned with the Bible verses you left out, the ones you left in are inaccurate enough as I is. I don't need additional reasons as to why you're quoting is bad.

Finally, while my comments have not been appropriate for tis situation, yours? Have been 1000 times more nasty and rude. So I'm just going to take that little Galatians quote and spin it right back around at you, because NOTHING I've said comes close to the absolutely hateful, nasty language you've used at me.
