Quoting the Bible out of context to try and prove an incorrect point correct is really, really dumb. because not only does it show that you're flat-earth (which there is so much natural science to prove otherwise it's not even funny), you're also probably creationist (which again, o much evidence it's not even funny). And while I am willing to debate any and all reasons you have for this reasoning, I have no time for some who will quote the bible out of context to make themselves right.
The bible was not written to be taken literally 100% of the time. There is metaphor, and simile, as there is in every other piece of writing that exists. for example, Deut 28:49 does not literally mean that there is an edge to the earth; rather, that the enemies will come from a great distance to destroy the Israelites.
I don't have to read Hebrew to look at a Bible and know that you're logic is incredibly screwed up. I know that there are some modern translation errors that come up (Jesus having brothers is one that drives me crazy), but you can't use that as an excuse to say that simile doesn't apply in the bible.
On a final note, if you're looking at a specific bible, I think you're going to have some problems, because there are so many different translations, there is no good way to quote bible verses accurately. I have no beef against you quoting out of that bible, but consider that anyone not using that bible is going to have a hard time looking up your verses.
