ARE WE MAKING OUR OWN LITTLE HIGHWAY JAUNT MIXTAPE, DEAR SIR? | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
I know I've heard the album it's from but it's been a while and I don't remember the song. Any particular reason for inclusion?

Lots of red sky and pitchforks in the video. Check that out and put it in the playlist if you agree...

I will. I saw where the video was up but then work interrupted and now I'm almost through for the day. I'll give it a try tomorrow. :)

Is that actually Bailey? To be honest I've never heard any Maiden when he was vocalist. It's just a commonly-held prejudice to not seek it out in the metalhead community. I just this week was an ad in a local paper that he was coming to town to play in some small venue.

Yup, here's what he says: "I was very, very lucky that they chose me. I don't know why; my voice is so different to Bruce. But I think maybe that's why. I was somebody that was different, but perhaps could bring something to the old songs." My problem with Blaze in Maiden: he struggled a lot with the Bruce-era Maiden material live. I really like the two albums he made with Maiden, especially "The X Factor", and there is some very underrated songs on both albums. Iron Maiden occasionally perform songs from the two Maiden albums featuring Bayley, including "Man on the Edge" and "Futureal", which he co-wrote, though no Bayley-era songs have been on the band's set list since 2004. :)

I'm okay with the Bailey era in the sense that when Bruce returned in 2000 they started putting out really good albums again. "The Final Frontier", "Dance of Death", and "A Matter of Life and Death" I would rank among their best half-dozen. I saw Maiden in the Tacoma Dome in April of last year for "The Book of Souls" tour and they were good. :) I can understand why Bailey would struggle as anyone would; Dickinson is not just the best metal vocalist ever but one of the best rock vocalists period. It was such a relief when he came back healthy from his cancer scare.
