While I firmly believe there are definitely consequences for your actions and action should be taken to punish those responsible for their sick perverse crimes, I myself would hold the death sentence as a last resort ONLY because that means we are sending someone to hell and I don't know I want to be responsible for that. Don't mistake me. I completely agree, but once you're sent to hell there's no coming back. Not the same with jail. We still need to punish them, but start with life with no parole and send someone in to hopefully change them for the better.
