No. that hurts your submission ratio. Just put in the title that it's an edited version: "Red Bull: It gives your more than just wings. Edited Version." Psychologically, people will give it a second look because you show that you've made an improvement on it.

BTW, I just checked and it looks like my help has pushed your points up about 1000. See what I mean.

This is another reason to keep the old, bad memes. People can see the improvement.

One key thing: DON'T beg for upvotes. Those posts get downvoted back into submission quickly, along with harsh remarks, because the people that post them are usually new accounts that haven't posted anything worth upvoting. At least you tried, which is why I don't mind helping. If you see yourself getting close to a goal (lets say, 10,000 points) it's cool to post that you only need a couple hundred points to reach the goal. I'll teach you how to set and reach realistic goals so you can concentrate on making good memes.

Good work. Walmart one came in at a 95% on perfect. Just need to tighten up your timing. (huh) I know, it's text, so where does timing come in? I would remove the "I Said" part in the bottom and add "And Said" to the top. Next, the actual quote should have quote marks. Normally, we memes do not need periods because the text boxes that we use fills that need, but other punctuation makes it read better. Great choice on Impossibru guy for this one. Subtle stereo type joke about Chinese/Asian guys having small p**ises made this even funnier than you may have realized. or maybe you did, because of the cashier's reply. Baby oil joke? I keep my gif reply handy because it is used so often. That's a once a month joke. You'd never find it by clicking the tags, because most new users haven't figured out how to use the tags yet, so clicking on baby oil wouldn't help much.

Six months from now, you'll be able to give advice. I was lucky in that I hit 100K in six weeks, so I didn't get much flak when I gave unasked for advice. I see you're getting there. Your baby oil meme, constant repost as it is, has a lot of comments. There's a troll here that, should this make it to page 1-5, will pipe in that it's a repost, even though every other person has said the same thing. He's such a pain in the ass it isn't funny. You may have seen some posts about him. Originally, he was known as 123Guy, but he was banned from imgflip for being a troll. Not an easy thing to accomplish, and he's changed his name several times. When he does pop up and shouts, "THAT'S A REPOST", just reply that his comment is a repost. It's his way of attention whoring. When that occurs, don't be afraid to give him a downvote, because he makes a real jerk of himself. I'll try to keep my eye on your meme, but odds are, he'll show up and try to wreck havoc.

6 weeks. Yes it does seem impressive to new users. I was able to do it because I had an idea of what to do and how to do it. If I made a political meme, I included both parties here in the states. but those are rare. I can't think of commenting on politics for other countries because I don't know their systems. A friend from Australia always comments on US politics because all his yank friends send him e-mails. He's shocked when I reply about how wrong he is.

Back to business: avoid politics, keep humor fun and don't get too nasty. Keep your wording tight. If a word isn't needed, don't use it.

Take my sample meme. Same pic, same scenario, but the one without the word lesbian is funnier because you have not insulted the reader by pointing out that her lover is a lesbian. It's redundant and slows the timing (there's that word again) and some may be insulted that they think you have to explain it to them because they are so stupid. Opinion?
