I feel your pain. The law is a secret, hence why I'm opposed to the government. All of them.

(Dis comment, Deleted, edited, put back up) Eh, I think this was in place before Bill C-16. Provincially the "Liberals" (Left wing liberals) have been in power for a few decades... And I think they're out of ideas.

Even with their bad poll numbers, there's something fundamentally wrong with the other parties, because they tend to crash and burn, without a single smear ad being run against them. *facedesk* *facedesk* *facedesk*

My conspiracy theory is that the provincial liberals don't want to be in power anymore. They're only passing obviously horrendous horrible laws so that we finally eject their corrupt arses.

They're gonna use public funds to write 'Please kill us now' across the sky, if they win another election, I'm tellin' ya.

Thanks by the way, but seeing as it's not in the 1st legal policy - "The Motor Cycles (Protective Helmets) (Amendment) Regulations 2000" I'll have to assume it's not illegal :)

Here's what it was all about;

"I'm so irritated now..... I ride a motorcycle and use a GoPro which is attached to my helmet.

In some states in America it's actually illegal for some apparent reason O_o, good old USA......

This under "DOT FMVSS 218 Helmet Safety Standard"

"S5.5 Projections. A helmet shall not have any rigid projections inside its shell. Rigid projections outside any helmet's shell shall be limited to those required for operation of essential accessories, and shall not protrude more than 0.20 inch (5mm)."

Now I live in the UK so i thought it prudent to read up on this, and make sure I'm following the Law.... or if it's going to be changed anytime soon....

I read through the following; "The Motor Cycles (Protective Helmets) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 | The Motor Cycles (Eye Protectors) (Amendment) Regulations 2000", and found nothing pertaining to something like FMVSS 218 - S5.5.....

However it refer's it's own legislation to British Standard 6658:1985.... So, I then looked into British Standard 6658:1985 & found out I have to ""pay £190 to look at the Legislation/Policy/Specification I'm supposed to follow?!

What an oxymoron..................."
