I don't think you'll get very far. Here are my reasons:

a) It's sometimes difficult to tell trolls from users who are in a bad mood or being jerks at the time.
b) We have no guarantee that if we report trolls, the mods will do anything.

But if you believe in what you're doing, don't let me discourage you.
