If you read the book, SPAM, A Biography, you'll find I was interviewed in the final chapter and even the closing line of the book refers to me. At a time when Hormel was filing cease and desist orders on dozens of websites for using the name Spam in their page names, Hormel left me alone. The corporation and myself have a mutual respect for each other: them, because I humorously created a religion around their flagship product, and I for them, for allowing me to do so without any harassment. My daughter said that the next time they go to Minnesota on a run,they're taking me with them to visit the Spam museum because I missed it the last time I was there.
