He was tricked, he was trying to save his wife and unborn child, and once you get into the Dark Side it's nearly impossible to get back out. You probably aren't a Sith, so you wouldn't be aware of that, but remember how Anakin/Vader saved Luke and everyone else in the galaxy by throwing Palpatine down the shaft? Sorry, but I will defend Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader to my last breath, and beyond.

Was he the only jedi to go sith? I only need one example. :D

There is the Lost Twenty, including Dooku, who was the Twentieth. So Anakin was the 21st Jedi to turn to the Dark Side. Then Kylo Ren would probably be the 22. Less than you'd expect, but after all, there can only be two: the master, and the apprentice.

Oh, they mention that in Revenge of the Sith, I think. There can only be two Sith at a time, the Master, and the Apprentice. Then, once the apprentice has gained all the master's knowledge, he or she kills the master and they become the master, and they take on an apprentice. It works like that every time. See, that's where 'the Chosen One' comes in. Anakin did balance the Force. After he was done, there was two Jedi: Obi-Wan and Yoda. There was also two Sith: Palpatine and himself. Sorry, I'm a Star Wars nerd. :)

I learned most of my stuff from my older brother and his Star Wars: Everything You Need To Know book. I recommend checking it out. It's quite fascinating. And you learn little behind the scenes facts, like who auditioned for Anakin, how R2-D2's sound was made, and a lot more awesome stuff. It ended before The Force Awakens came out, though, so there's nothing from there except a picture. :)

Change "sith" to "dark" and well i goooogled and there was a liiiist of 8 - Anakin = 7 so... :D
