Then comparisons to other faiths makes it more important to compare. For example, if railing against one faith to a group of people, you have to be able to compare faith to the one you're railing against so the group has a proper understanding and you start on somewhat the same footing. Atheist, LBGT, women, hell, any minority that Islam is against has a similar intolerance by other faiths. Count the LBGT support groups at Liberty University. They're there, but they aren't open about it because of intolerence. Ask the Catholic Church how many women are in the priesthood. How many members of the KKK are black? Or Jewish.
I won't say that fundamentalist Islam is pure, but then, neither are any of the fundamentalist religions I've come across.
