There's no special trick to it. It's just basically making a lot of comments (especially on memes that are viewed by a lot of people).

My memes started doing noticeably better when I started making comments on front page memes.

Lololol I was going to ask you a question about how to do something but clicked "socrates" first and saw "if you have any questions about imgflip..." and a link to something. Which made me think "oh sohcrayts probably got a lotta ?s so...". Signed up today so I'm a clueless newb. So far so fun :D ugh just accidentally clicked on "flag". Glad there was a thing that let you cancel!

You can always ask me questions but:
a) I often fall behind on Notifications, so I might not see it, and
b) I don't know as much about imgflip as some people seem to think I do (but I'm happy to help new users if I can)

Also, it helps if you're able to consistently produce memes that other people find funny, and respond quickly in a funny way to comments on your memes (which is at least true in Raydog's case). ;-)

I've made the front page a few times, though. "Send us a pic of your junk" or "I'm right and you're wrong", for example. And I have some on a deleted account.

I'm surprised to be put in the same category as Raydog with this. I don't have as many front page submissions as he does.

Also, don't forget, there are lots of memes that get on the front page by other users besides Raydog. A front page meme can come from any user. If enough people see your meme and upvote it in a certain time period, it will make the front page.

I don't know the answer to the question about views though. I assume views increase significantly on a meme when people share that meme to other sites.
