When you aren't sure where you stand or squat

It looks like this got buried (I'm seeing it on Latest page 25).

It may have been missed because it's a 10-month old creation. When a batch of new memes come out in Latest, they're ordered by when they were generated. So yours would have come in the bottom of the batch. If it was a large batch, that could mean it was a few pages down in Latest from the start. Also, it means it wouldn't have shown up as one of the 12 most recent visible images on your main profile page either.

Because of these things, I try to generate images right before I submit them. It might not guarantee they'll be seen, but it makes it less likely they'll get lost.

I went through latest today, and 2 of them were old, like this, and 1 a day old. All three came in the first ten pages, though. I'm not worrying. I hit my goal of a million points a long time ago. Whenever I hit 2 million, it'll happen, but that first million was the goal. Now my goal is to post funny memes and GIFs. If they make it to page one, great. A pleasant surprise.
