tipping should almost be mandatory

it is true what they say, if you cannot afford to tip, then you cannot afford to go out.

my wife worked as a waitress in a restaurant. She would do $ 1000 in sales, and due to the nature of the clientele, she would only take home $ 20 in tips on average.

she used to bartend in the same hotel as that particular restaurant. She would do $ 1500 in bar sales and be lucky to get $ 50 in tips.

prices for couples with children should be higher

or they should at least tip a minimum of 15 %
