There are some instances that would still be legit and not anyone's fault. Say for instance they have to leave for work or had a trip planned with the boys 1 last time before the baby comes, but the baby came early. I know a guy that was out hunting a couple hours away when his wife suddenly went into labor. Not sure when he got the call to know if he did actually make it in time, but he shot his toe off trying to hurry up getting into the truck to get back. But in general normal circumstances, yea they probably should be there.
