I spent the past 15 years on kidney dialysis. The past 12 were using a machine like this to do peritoneal dialysis at home. On January 13 of this year I received a kidney transplant. Chronic illness does suck but it is not have to define you. I was able to attend 4 years of college, get a degree, and hold full time job; all that was while doing dialysis every day. Now I have a new kidney and a new way of life. Stay positive and keep doing what you need to do stay healthy and stay active.
