We used to have lawn darts. We extended the forks on our bikes. Run along the side of freight trains and jump on board. Dangerous? Yes. But, no end to the fun.

Lol true. Back in the day when a warning label was just a suggestion. And very cool toy was probably harmful to our health one way or another :)

When I was kid our neighbors across the street had company over. This teenage boy had a whip. Swear it was like a horse whip. Made the cracking sound and everything. I really wanted one, but you know what mom and dad said to that.

Lol yeah a good friend of mine has an older brother who has a stock whip and as brothers do they had a fight and he cracked the whip slicing open his arm that needed 40 stiches. The scar is massive. Lol its one of his favorite stories to tell though. Chicks dig scars.but not as much as money lol

And for the record i traded mine for an actual sandwich because my parents were hippies and food was'for the man mannnn' . Damn hippies

Lol back then lets just say choices for creating our own fun were a lot different to todays politically correct methods of parenting. I sometimes wonder how we survived at all lol the 70s was a crazy time to grow up
