This is the difference between Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. (OK, one of many). Reagan was strong enough to laugh at himself and confident enough not to be threatened by others laughing at him. It may sound trivial, but humor is the ability to put things in perspective. It's an indicator that one possesses strength of character, which is essential when criticism is a part of the job.
I'm not a Trump fan - but even if I was, I would still find this funny.
