Funny, I have many Republican friends and family too. Going over to one's house today for a cook out. You know what happens after we argue politics? We're still friends and family.

Try actually talking first and be willing to listen too. You might be surprised how much we really all agree with each other.

And you ever met a Muslim? I have. Very nice people with a great sense of humor and welcoming. Just most Christians are nice people too, but there are Christian terrorists too. And Jewish ones and others. Your attacking an entire group only feeds those groups and allows them to recruit better because now you sound like a terrorist making threats against people who had done you no harm.

Although I do not believe all Muslims are terrorists, the ones who are give some of the people in their religion (which I believe is false) a bad name. However, ignoring the Islamic terrorist threat is just plain dumb.
Family and friends with opposing political views is ENTIRELY different from two strangers with opposing political views. (Like you and me.)

The issue is when you call them Islamic terrorist, you are actually helping them in the us against them argument. That is why Obama never called them that. Their most effective recruiting tool is telling other Muslims that we are at war with their religion.

I am specifying by saying "Islamic terrorists." If I just said: "Muslims" then I would be including all who follow their religion, which I'm not.
