She sent the wrong message to the country by not focusing on all of the Americans. You don't get the support of American laborers by telling them that you are going to eliminate their source of income. You don't ignore the people in the boonies when more than half of the country is in the boonies. You don't become more important than the best interests of your country or your party, and when you get caught cheating in a rigged primary, you don't promote your henchman to a prominent position in your campaign heirarchy.
This was not the election for politics as usual. This was the election for the outsider. The population was tired of politics as usual. Sanders, while a long time politician, because of his independent status, was an outsider. Trump, because he'd never served in any capacity in the government, was an outsider. Hillary was an insider.
