Good hint on getting there: Post more memes, comment (and pay the upvote tax) on others memes, and get yourself known better. You build your fan-base, so even if you do make a stinker of a meme, you'll still get some up-votes. It's rare a person makes a meme that makes front page without that happening. I'm fortunate that I get 1 or 2 a month on page one, but then, it took almost a year to get the first one.
