Actually its quite nice. They breed them especially for the table menu in france on a special diet :) very hygienic. Not everyones taste though

I had a friend who was a 5-star chef back in the 80's .. he used to create an escargot dish that was to die for and he and I would share some after we both finished work ... :-) also made other seafood dishes that we would share.
