The funny thing is that there was no evidence the animals were even the slightest bit unhealthy. They all continue to receive full physical examinations every 3 months, about 4 times as frequently as an insured American. It just doesn't make sense for SeaWorld to neglect such a significant investment, both from a monetary standpoint and from a PR one.
SeaWorld also continues to make contributions to animal shelters, and they make about 500 marine animal rescues annually.
