Most of us know our way around to some extent. My first popular, hot page meme was a statement not begging for points, but trying to figure out how I had gotten so many in just a few days. Positive confusion, LOL. You're definitely on the right track. Those that aren't don't like me because I do a fair critique of their posts.
Only other advice I can give: don't be afraid to upvote and comment on other people's posts that you like. It helps you get better known, and flippers like dealing with positive people. Also, keep comments positive. I'm able to do negative reviews because I have a rep of being fair. And negative reviews consist of the ability to analyze what they have, advise how to change it, and work with them. Most don't want to, but they are usually the most immature members here. Not all of them are kids.
