Thanks. It was Dazzer's idea, originally. He mentioned he'd tried to do it, but, like so many, just popped up with a meme that it was old ad week. GhostOfChurch set up a meme stream to help organize the different theme weeks, but there are a few that just go ahead anyway. I'm working in the guidelines to make theme weeks successful. The only rule we have is don't violate the TOS. The rest are guidelines. Promote it, acknowledge those that participate, and other little things that people don't think about. Keep your theme as broad as possible to allow more input. Combine similar themes. Example, I've got Cartoon character Week scheduled for the first week of May. I chose that because Free Comic Book Day is that week. So, it turns out, is May The Fourth. Two special days for Comic Book Character Week, that fold in nicely.
Next week, IIRC, is classic Rock Week.
