We're working on guidelines and such to help People with setting up and organizing theme weeks they'd like to have. If a single person posts "it's toenail fungus week", you can't expect everyone to clamor about and join in.
I'm currently running old ad week. Nobody signed up for the slot, but several people are running their own theme weeks at the same time. I have another week scheduled I'm May, Cartoon Character Week, which coincides with May The Fourth (Star Wars day) and Free Comic Book Day.
