Yeah that's why I was thrown by the statement, "thanks a lot", because it wasn't something Trump actually did or didn't do. With the "Thanks Obama" meme, it was based on his failures and that relevancy made the memes funny. Or maybe I'm just suffering from psychic flatulence this week.
