Thanks :) It stems from Digitizer which was a computer game "magazine" on teletext way back in the day. The date at the top would read "Mar10" hence lots of letters about "Mario Day" They had news, reviews, letters etc and a surreal element like Mr T and others who would appear now and again. :)
