Always appreciated :-) I just ignore the crummy ones .. I try to keep it neutral .. if, on the rare occasion I do get political, my memes are generic and concern issues that affect everybody, regardless of political stripe, income level, gender or race. Better that way methinks .. we who care about the health and welfare of our fellow citizens have something to say, and the louder it is said, and the greater the numbers and volume, the more likely we can be heard.
For example. There is NO excuse for any Canadian or American citizen being without a place to call home, humble as it might be. I will submit an occasional meme on the subject. I've been homeless. It is hell on earth, and many people get into drugs in a vain attempt to kill the pain.
I also did a "mini-series" of six memes called "Parking Woes In Morder", done with a lot of imput and ideas from a fellow memer, and am hoping I can dream up another one soon :-) I had a lotta fun doing that one :-) it's pretty silly, but hey .. silliness can be good medicine for the soul :-) almost as good as music :-)
This site gives me the best mental health break ever :-) and using the creative brain is good for an older person like myself .. science has shown that using the mind in ways like this one is very good for fending off dementia, especially when life gets stressful. I've been telling my friends about this place, so hopefully you'll see some new memers from my area soon :-) Have a good one and have fun :-)
