There's a manga/anime series out of Japan called Ranma 1/2. It's about a young martial artist that fell into the cursed spring of drowned girl. Every time he gets splashed with cold water, he becomes a buxom she.

The sesei, or master, of his father and fiance's father has returned and loves to steal the panties of post puberty/pre menopausal females. Check the wiki on it. I've bought 4 seasons of it. My granddaughters love it.

That's Akane Tendo, Ranma's fiance. It's a love/hate relationship. Ranma doesn't help because, in his words , he's better built than she is.

I wonder how the bathroom radicals would feel about Ranma's changeability.

Here's a cover from one of the DVDs. The characters are Genma Saotome, Ranma's dad. He fell in the pool of the drowned panda. The redhead is Ranma as a girl. The dark haired girl is Akane Tendo, and the pigtailed boy is Ranma Saotome.

Aside from Ranma, there isn't a lot of gender bending in anime. A lot of androgyny, but no benders. That's fan art fantasies. Many of those are... Unusual.

The Japanese are relatively socially conservative, despite what you might see in anime. I might have to hunt that one down.

In its favor, I would say that the Japanese are not known for being political correctness.

I saw season one at Walmart for $9.99. I just paid $15 for the box set, used. Lol.

I'm aware of the conservative nature of Japanese society: one reason why their art is so far out there.

I've got season four on the way, and have a bid on the two Ranma movies on eBay.

I don't get excited by much, and certainly not a TV show, but this one is so well done i can't help myself.

Well if you recommend it I probably should make the effort to see it. I'll check my 'net sources...
