I turned 10 during 'the Summer Of Love". I always knew where it was at: that summer I found out what it was for. Drugs? Not for many years. Worse case, instead of dropping acid, I took an antacid. But yes, I can relate. Thats the world I went through puberty in.
The war was over, the hippy movement dried up and was replaced by the freaks. I was on the fringe of that culture for a while. Got married, straightened up, but have fond memories of that time. I even remember some of the ladies names
