Getting back on topic of getting to the front page, I'm working on a meme stream to help new users with some of the tips and tricks. I just finished writing a bit on titles and tags. A lot of flippers read posts on their cell phones and don't always have fast access. If a meme is slow to load, I skim through the titles. If it has a template name as the title and hasn't loaded, I'll skim past it and look for the next meme and rarely go back to see if it loaded. Add an interesting title that makes people want to read it.
Tags are another aspect to look into. They help others find what they want, especially on Google. A good tag will say something about the actual post. The subject of this post is front page while other items include, but aren't limited to, meme quality, favoritism, etc. Ive had several memes that k now realize may have made front page, but weren't there very long because my butt check meme lasted there less than four hours: a time I would normally be asleep. go figure. Mind you, I've had page one memes, I'm on the leaderboard. I have an idea of what's going on.
