I WAS going to argue that pay toilets had been banned in the US since the 1970s. That ban has been lifted in many areas.
I was also going to say that pay toilets had been around only since the 1950s, but I was centuries off on that mark.
I did not even consider lay toilets around the world. I do like the idea that some offer a voucher for goods/services provided by the business that utilizes them.
