The pivot point occurred on November 22, 1963. I know, long before they were born. The next decade brought protests, riots, assassinations, terrorism, and loss of trust in government. America lost its innocence, and, instead of trying to use a condom, our leadership spent the next half century trying to find its virginity.

They're mostly dead and thus ineffectual. John Lydon has become quite mainstream. Johnny Ramone apparently was a right-wing asshat.

It seems to be pretty typical really. We start out young and energetic and full of good intentions and then end up like my parents are now. In their 70's/80's and ridiculously indulgent grandparents and way too extravagant. I do love em anyway, though.
