Rich kids are a benefit to poor kids. And, much as we worked, we were still poor. It gave me the drive to keep working. I took shit jobs with shit pay for a long time. And would do so again if I had to, even being disabled.

Now that it's just me and the cats, we get by on a little over $1200 a month. Not much, but years of living cheaply paid off.

My job doesn't pay fantastically but I can't call it a shit job. It's good for my (relaxed) pace and pays enough to survive. It pays enough to buy good craft beer. That'll be in about 15 minutes...

I've had the spectrum from shit jobs to dream jobs. My real dream job? Making large amounts of cash by having beautiful women go oral on me.

There are so many people on imgflip who seem to be afraid of points. Deleting and reappearing. I've got too many points now to sacrifice, despite telling myself I'm not in it for the points. :P

I was close to 200K when I deleted my original account. Just hit quarter million today. I think if I wouldn't have done that, ID at least be at half million.

I know why some people do. It concerns people that make this place not fun. You knowchiw that goes. Jumped channels and now. We wait.

I'm a very unemotional person. I can understand how trolls bother people, but I can just kick back and enjoy the stupidity and poke 'em every once-in-a-while. I have found my group of 'fun' people I can fall back on when I'm done causing havoc on the political pages. Which nowadays is mostly all the time.

Once imgflip realizes it's costing them revenue to keep these users, they'll make political memes tagged like NSFW. Socio-Political. If you see a political meme, just tag it with that flag. Unless you want to see it, it will be filtered from view. Like an NSFW meme. Better than trolling because those not interested or disgusted with those types wont see if. It'll piss

Eh, I'm a free speech near-extremist. But I understand your idea. If someone opted in that would be their choice. As for NSFW, I WANT to see those. ;)

Same here. I don't filter NSFW out. There are those that don't want to see that, and imgflip gives that option. What political posts I've done since adding this account have all leaned to humor. Still, I don't object that not everyone could see them if they had a political flag on them. Just like I don't complain about when my work has an NSFW flag on them.

NSFW is for the puppies. ;)

It's either childish political memes or "why don't people comment and like my memes". That leaderboard meme I pointed out in another thread. Kid acted like he was on the leaderboard. 10000 points, 37 featured, 1 comment.

I hadn't seen it. It's true. I still look through and comment on political memes, and on occasion make one myself, but I've toned down the sarcasm. Not out of concern of offending anyone but because it tends not to work and just brings the wingnut flies to your sh!t. I've been told that noob we discussed is something like 19. :P

Bananamanz commented that he was still in high school and the only reason him and his friends list political is because they get the upvotes.

Discussing with a 14 year old living on minimum wage. He comments that the US has a high standard of living. He's never had a job, so he used his parents as examples of the standard of living. Used a scenario where his mom makes $44K a year, the house payment is only $500 a month, car payment is $200, etc. No taxes, no insurance, minimal utilities. And Dad makes even more. 10 years from now he'll be crying he doesn't make enough to live on.

That's like me in college when my dorm mates were all way above me economically. :P I'd make a snarky comment about rich kids and would just get a confused look, or more likely, I'd mention like how I'd like to study overseas and they'd say "well just go apply, it's not too bad" like my parents were bleeding money like theirs. My parents get along fine now because my dad's retirement is from a defined-benefit public employees fund. Of course that won't be there for others in the future - promising 8% investment returns a year doesn't work - but at least it will be there for my folks through their lifespans.

Yeah. Damn puppies. Most of them have more perverted minds than us because they've only had sex with their priest, and I don't think that counts.

Had one kid post a meme of the Rock Driving. Rock tells girl, lets go to my place and get real. Girl says, What do you mean by that??? Lame meme, right? Perfect setup for me. I posted a meme something like as opposed to these unreal things, which included d**does, vibrators, and an inflatable sheep. He didn't get the joke, so I explained it. Oh, he got bent out of shape because I posted something so nasty. I checked, new account. Figured kid. Best to remove than be thought a real perv. So CE he asked nice. I removed it, but then proceeded to read him the riot act. Basically, I'll remove it this time, but in the future, don't post suggestive memes, or someone would post even worse. Run it by that friend everyone has that can turn anything into something nasty.

The thing is, his meme sounds like the 'innocent' idea of perversion as would be presented in those movies. And that's where they get the ideas. No actual genitalia or gooey-ness. NSFW is basically my idea of a nice Sunday drive through the mainstream satire. It would be nice if these kids would get their heads out of their a$$es. Or get their heads IN their a$$es.
