Republicans in professional positions, OTOH, seem to follow a similar style of creativity. They rely on what came before. Instead of building on the current science, they use what's available without experimentation.
Democrats could just as easy be the mullet man, but they'd continue to further the knowledge of Redneck tech. Likewise. In the professional aspect, they are more likely to pursue how to create things better, find out why it ticks, and further knowledge.
In general, Republicans (Conservatives) are good with established methods, Democrats (liberals) have the spark of curiosity to research. They hire the Republicans to keep records
