I think it might have to do with anti-muslim propaganda. Not sure how other social media is affected, but anti Muslim posts proliferate on Facebook and imgflip. The posts are coming from the right-wing.
The twin towers attacks worked to build an anti Islamic attitude in this country. We respond with attacks on Islamic countries, but the attack is actually on the economy of the Americans. Not from outside, though, but from within the military suppliers. Look at how Haliburton raped our treasury.
And guess who funds the jihadists? You think it's every Muslim? Look at who is invested in arms and ammunition in the Arab world.
We, those that would just want to live in peace, will always be affected by the war mongers because of their greed.
