It would be nice to flip through images without half the page devoted to political messages from either side

Seems like the only meme to make some sense around here for a while.

Well, I looked for a solution. Political meme makers get all butt hurt if they can't comment about somebody else's butthurt. I figure it's the best way to save The site from turning into a political shouting match. If a political me pops up in my feed , I don't have a problem as flagging it such. I do a lot of mature themed memes, and when I get a NSFW tag on it, it doesn't bother me. Heck, I even tag my own stuff. No hoo hoo, and the offended people can't be offended. I'm having a blast with pulp art week. A lot of inuendo in the comments but if someone's offended, I'm glad because even the broadest puns are well concealed. If they're offended, then they had to think, which means their minds are as perverted as mine. ;)

I filter out the GIFs because I have a slow connection. That's all I filter. If I could filter out politics, ID be ecstatic.

So, just filter them out. That's not half bad of an idea.
