I tell them it's their reputation, and that there's a chance people will stop replying to them. One of them flat out told me they couldn't pass out upvotes that freely... allllllrighty then, no more replies for them.

There's another top 50 memer I know does it to me on my memes, but I don't see enough of their comments to know if they do it to other people too.
