It's coming across as either a vendetta against the pictured kid, or excessive self promotion from your own childhood.
Self promotion is fine, but has to be done with finesse. Look through my templates and you'll see several pics of me. Or type in "Swiggy" on the blank meme generator and see what pops up. Every pic is me, but they also add life to the story. I use them mostly for replies, but will use them as I see fit in actual submissions.

Goidcrule to remember: you're playing to a world wide audience. I have no idea who Clarissa is. Why would she be the one to explain it? A 10 year old kid trying to put a forced smile? Posed pics and selfies have to be exceptional to work as a meme. Sorry ifci sound like I'm coming down hard, but j see potential. But you will not reach it this way.
