Never try to force the humor: it shows. The right picture to match the text works best. This school puc worked well for this because it concerned a school. The twist of fate would have made it a good Bad Luck Brian meme, but an original character made it stand out.

If you want to go original pics, go through the family album and find them. Most posed pjcs are pretty boring, though, and takes a really creative effort, and/or Photoshop, to bring the humor through.

Awww sad day, I can't even respond in meme. Wanted to use either Morpheus or Alice to make a 'rabbit hole' reference, but maybe it worked out, since the subtlety would not have been there.

I know. Need àt least 1000 points to meme reply. It took me a couple memes and a ton of comments on other memes, but I did it in a couple days.

You're the director of your own miniplay with memes. You have to chose your actors wisely. You can use them as needed, but chose wisely. I use the "one does not simply" template for a lot of things because the action he expresses works well in multiple settings. I've never been accused of using a template poorly. The pothole template I used here garnered well over 300 views, several upvotes, and comments. Not bad for a stretch of road that needs repair.
