Keep note pad handy and jot down ideas as they come. It's hard to come up with ideas when you sit down and produce memes cold. Be inspired. I usually have an extra meme or ten by the end of the day. Often, I ha e the maximum amount of submissions within half an hour of the new day.

Ghostofchurch has a link on his page for the member community part of imgflip that has a lot of suggestions to help newcomers as well. I was hovering around the 200K mark before I deleted my old account in October. I was under 1000K from January to late June because I was using my memes, political, elsewhere. No longer worked that page, so came for the fun. I still need to do a tutorial on writing good memes and being a community contributor. Keep comments light-hearted as much as possible, don't be afraid to "one-up" another memer in a fun battle of wits, and for heavens sales, don't get mad if you get topped. You'll have you're chance to one up someone else. Just have fun.
