This is how we have chosen America's president since George Washington. It has never changed. There's a good reason we don't use the popular vote. Too much room for corruption.

If it weren't for the electoral college those who live in states like Idaho wouldn't even make any difference.
Please think before you make a comment. We're not a democracy, we're a republic. And yes, since NY has high population, they have a high number of electoral votes.
