Power corrupts, clearly. An interesting book came my way recently, from our public library, called "The Seduction of Hillary Clinton." It argues that as an idealistic young student, she chose the law as a profession in order to effect beneficial change for the poor and powerless. And what seduced her-other than Bill Clinton-had to be power. Today we find her sold out to Wall Street & foreign governments, so eager to stay in power that she perverted the Democratic primaries & rigged the convention. The sordid truth is even more sordid because of the Big Media inattention. Alas. I wonder how long it takes to go from idealist to conspirator?
