Unfortunately, the way she said it upset a lot of coal miners. Had she concentrated on training miners for the renewable energy industry that would replace coal mines, she might have gotten further ahead. But she was more focused on closing the mines.Th biggest fear for those minerd isn't a cave in. It's the loss of their livelihood.
Regardless, her carelessness in choosing her words cost her the votes of every coal miner in Appalachia. Votes she needed, and threw away. She isn't near the BS artist Bill or Trump are.
Coal in her stocking would be a good reminder for her to think of how her actions affect others.
