Wow! The US really has flipped! Christmas is a holiday for everyone to celebrate, even if you aren't christian. Why would people get offended by it?

Both are constitutional, and both offend someone (though one more than the other).

the reason we can technically burn flags is because that's how you retire a flag, but people use it as an excuse to burn their own damn country's flag, its also constitutionally protected to say whatever you want, but if it offends someone they cant do shit.

I can't understand how an act (burning a flag) can be considered freedom of speech. I'm not saying it's a punishable offense, but at least shame someone by putting their picture in the paper.

its how this country works, we have the right to express ourselfs however we need to, and for some that's being a disrespectful douche, and its not the governments job to shame someone, besides if the flag is already ruined, it needs to be burned rather than thrown away, but there is a special way you need to do it, they do not do that they are burning the flag in bitter dumbassness.
