On the other hand, the local food bank gives them away for free. I've been eating duck eggs for about a year now, with the occasional chicken eggs. The White fries up a little tougher than chicken eggs, but their fine. Also great for baking. Stores, for the most part, don't carry them because everyone grew up eating chicken eggs. I had my first duck eggs before I hot puberty.
Also, duck eggs are larger than chicken eggs, and are harder to crack. Took me a while to relearn that.
