I was um ..told to go get, butter and pastry. And wine for cooking with garlic and rosemary pasta. Forgot and came home with a new guitar , beer and a pizza. The pizza was crap but the Gibson still rocks. Lol

For electrics, I gravitate to the 2nd tier vintage guitars like Harmony, Danelectro, Silvertone, Teisco etc. My 2 favourites though are my Fender Telecaster Thinline Delux (P90 pups) and my Gretsch 2622T (neither vintage). When it comes to acoustics I'm all Gibson. I've got an early 60s Gibson LG1 and an early 60s Gibson B45 (12 string). I love anything 70s inspired - blues rock (The Black Keys, The White Stripes).

[image deleted]Nice bri. Yeah same. Im running a aceno slash zebra pro in my sg which is a solid body pick up but for blues gives real warm feel thohgh the mg Marshall. But i run a fender chorus twin combo pre miked for my ashton 12 string. I got around 12 guitars and a killer Fender bass studio. Very funky tones :)

[image deleted]Thanks bro sounds like you know your stuff.vox is a nice rock sound especially valved amps. My old jcm 900 marshall was good but very unreliable . Not a huge fan of pedels but i do run a boss destortion on a low gain for alittle but extra.evan experimented by putting a 10 watt superchamp pre amp straight into the guitar. Works fine and very unique sound :)

[image deleted]I love my Zoom G5 multi effects pedal board. I was going down the road of getting individual pedals but the quality and value of Zoom really impressed me. They even have a buit in tube booster. My 'home' tone is a pretty heavily distorted mix of the Vox amp that is driven and a tube screamer (in the Zoom). I also use tremolo, phaser, slap back delay and pitch shift to get some weird/unique dynamics. I've also just got a voice synth / effects pedal that I plan to use sparingly to get some different vocal effects. Great fun experimenting.

I have a alot of stomp boxs.but seem to always go baxj to the basics.my last toy is a rc30 boss loop station.i program from pc and edit rhen load bacj to pedel.great pratice tool bur very hard to use live.i rock out to old school acdc. Van halen.and alot of new music too.actully i listen ti anything rocking.i seen iton maiden live just a while ago.and now am waiting for frint row at gunners.seen slash just at the beginning of the year . awesome. :)
