Everyone's a little bit racist: it's how you deal with it in your dealings with others that shows character.
Caught a young boy walk off with a pair of sunglasses from my booth years ago. I asked him if he was going to pay for them. Before he could say a word, his grandmother lit into me like you wouldn't believe. She went in and on about how I targeted her grandbaby because he was black. Tempers got heated, but I made sure I didn't say anything that could be construed as racist. Finally she started going on about the KKK. I'd had enough, but just looked at her calmly and said, " you know that sounds like a very racist remark. Here she was, hoping to get me to say something racist, and I threw it right back at her.
