But if you're serious. It's not too late to start. Just meet the state requirement for number of signitures to be put on the ballot. If you're running under a party banner, best to get the leadership blessing. Otherwise, forget it, and run independent. Spend the next four years pointing out how badlyour current government is being run.
Build yourself a good support system. As an independent, you'll need legislative support. Find like-minded people to fill in the Congress and gubernatorial positions for each state. Support the hell out of them. You need them in Washington. They, in turn, need to fill their state legislatures with like minded people at the municipal level.
