Close to two weeks, actually. After I was brought out of my induced coma, it was a couple more days before I was allowed to try and stand.

I know, I take things too literally.

I also have a calcified vertebrae. I had no pain from it for more than 2 months. Also, the surgery seems to have cured my acid reflux disease.

Well I guess thats a bonus!

Lots of bonuses. I've been eligable for disability, so have had a steady paycheck for 8 years. It's nice to know I can make rent every month.

Oh, well that's good. Peace of mind is pretty rare these days
